Festive opening of the anniversary season
On Saturday 25 September, the festive opening of our anniversary season took place, attended by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima.
We celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Netherlands Bach Society in TivoliVredenburg with a performance of The Art of Fugue and talks by our director Willemijn Mooij and the Mayor of Utrecht Sharon Dijksma. After the concert, the royal couple spoke to musicians, staff and others concerned with the Bach Society. It was a festive start to this special season!
