Our Friends make it possible: top-level concerts, mentoring young talent and educational projects for children. In appreciation of all the support we receive, we organize an exclusive event for our Friends every year.

Delve into the repertoire“

Last year, we introduced a new tradition: Prelude for Friends. On Sunday afternoon, 27 September, all Friends of the Bach society are warmly invited to Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ for an in-depth musical and musicological introduction to the concert The beauty of differences, with artistic leader and conductor Johanna Soller. This second edition offers a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the repertoire of this concert together with musicians and experts.

Sunday, 27 September, from 13.00 to 14.45 o'clock at Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ.

From 13.00 to 14.00 o'clock, the programme will focus on the musical content; afterwards, we warmly invite you to join us in the foyer for a drink and a bite. The concert The beauty of difference begins at 15.00 o'clock. Of course, it is also possible to only attend the Prelude for Friends without staying for the concert afterwards.
