Churches are gradually emptying, yet everyone still needs moments of contemplation. Reflect with Bach is just such a moment. For each edition, the unconventional Flemish poet Maud Vanhauwaert, presenter Lex Bohlmeijer and the Netherlands Bach Society are joined by a different writer and thinker, to explore the universal themes of life and offer tranquillity through the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. Today’s theme is: conscience. With: writer and philosopher Alicja Gescinska.
Bach's music provides the universal themes, while different speakers and thinkers reflect on them from their own perspectives. The surprising and moving reflections of poet Maud Vanhauwaert, presenter Lex Bohlmeijer and the Netherlands Bach Society are constant features. Today's theme: conscience. With: writer and philosopher Alicja Gescinska. She turned famous with her boek De verovering van de vrijheid (2011) and won the 'Debuutprijs' in 2017 for her novelle Een soort van liefde.
