In Girls & Princes two fairy tales from the book Girls by Annet Schaap (Lampie and the Children of the Sea, Cricket) come to life. The brand-new music that sounds like Bach transports you to a fairy-tale world where life is sometimes no fun for girls. For children aged 8 and up.
“Fairy tales by Annet Schaap“
Don Duyns adapted two fairy tales by Annet Schaap for Het Filiaal theatermakers. ‘Mr Stiltskin’ and ‘Frog’ are about unfulfilled desires, toxic little princes and foul play. Composer Gábor Tarján was inspired by music from other times: the days of Bach. He used Bach’s melodies, bass lines and chords as building blocks for his new music.
