The background

Stine Jensen about parting

The series Reflect with Bach combines cantatas that prompt reflection with spoken texts about topical questions of life and death. Bach delivers the themes, and they are elaborated on by today’s writers and thinkers. Today's theme: parting. With: writer Stine Jensen.

In 2020, Stine Jensen was awarded the ‘Zilveren Griffel’ for her book Alles wat was: hoe ga je om met afscheid (Everything that was: how to deal with parting). This ‘comfort book’ for children looks at various aspects of death. In this reflection concert, the philosopher and author applies her ideas to the adult world, with additional comfort from Bach’s motets.

This concert is part of the series Reflect with Bach.
Note: the language of this series Reflect with Bach is Dutch.
