Six young musicians delve into Bach and the harpsichord
Are you under the age of (including) 18 years and would you like to learn to play the harpsichord and make a recording of Bach's Klavierbüchlein for our YouTube channel All of Bach? Then sign up now!
Siebe Henstra, harpsichordist of the Netherlands Bach Society, will introduce you to Bach, the harpsichord and Baroque playing techniques and styles in two master classes. Accompanied by Siebe, you will then record one piece from the Klavierbüchlein for All of Bach.
This project will be recorded and will be featured on allofbach.com and the YouTube channel of the Netherlands Bach Society and will also be used on the social media channels of the Bach Society.
We have organized similar projects in the past with young pianists, violinists and cellists.
How to apply?
• record a video of yourself playing one of Bach's Nine preludes BWV 924-932 and a Bach work of your choice;
• upload the video on YouTube and mention the link in the application form below;
• complete the application form. The deadline for applications is April 8, 2024;
• don't forget to ask your parents' permission if you are under 18!

• Saturday, June 15, 2024 - master class no. 1
• Saturday, September 28, 2024 - master class no. 2
• Wednesday, October 16, 2024 - recording for All of Bach
